Responsibilities
The Business will ensure that all products/services are provided in accordance with agreed timeframe and to a professional standard.
Period of Engagement
The engagement will start upon the signed acceptance of the terms of engagement by The Customer when they are issued a 'New Client Engagement Form'.
Confidentiality
In conducting this engagement, information acquired by us in the course of the engagement is subject to strict confidentiality requirements. That information will not be disclosed by us to other parties except as required or allowed for by law, or with your express consent.
Estimated Pricing
Unless otherwise stated in writing, any estimates which we provide to you of our anticipated fees, disbursements and charges are only indicative of the amounts you can expect to be charged. Estimates are not quotes and are not binding on us.
Pricing changes:
Typically, we will provide clients with 30 days' notice of any pricing changes. These changes will also be available on our website.
Zoom Correspondence meetings/Tuition lessons:
Lessons are provided for 1 (one) or 2 (two) hourly sessions. An initial 1 hour free ‘meet and greet’ zoom meeting is conducted with all new clients, where we will discuss the client’s goals and subjects the client wants to work on. The standard lesson fees for private tuition are AUD $35.00 for 1 (one) hour or AUD $70.00 for 2 (two) hours, and AUD $30.00 per student for 1 (one) hour and AUD $60.00 per student for 2 (two) hours. Group tuition is available for to 2-3 students per session. Additional time during lessons may be granted to the student if needed, though this is subject to time availability and may not always be possible. An additional AUD $8.75 will be incurred for each 15-minute extension for private tuition, and an additional $7.50 per student for each 15-minute extension for group tuition. The 15-minute charge will be automatically applied to the service fee after 10 minutes has passed of each extension, i.e., 12:10pm, 12:25pm, 12:40pm, 12:55pm. The maximum length any one tuition session can go for is 2 (two) hours, if the student requires more time, this can be arranged, but must be separated over 2 (two) or more sessions. Fees, rates and charges may increase in the future.
ALL zoom meetings are recorded, including the initial zoom for professional safety and stored in password protected files. Parents are encouraged to attend zoom tuitions if they wish to do so and if the client is under 18 years of age. Inappropriate behaviour or language/comments WILL NOT be tolerated. In the event this does occur, a verbal warning will be given to the client, requiring them to cease. If the client does not cease their behaviour, Intergalactic Tutoring may choose to terminate the session and no refund will be given. If the behaviour occurs over more than 1 (one) or multiple sessions, Intergalactic Tutoring reserves the right to terminate services with the client and any payments made will not be refunded.
If the client wishes to access any zoom recordings, they must provide written request to Intergalactic Tutoring and may be charged a small admin fee. Any zoom files/recordings received are subject to copyright and MUST NOT be shared online.

Unfortunately, late students will not receive a discount or an offer to make up the lesson.
UNFORTUNATELY, CANCELATIONS MADE WITHIN 48 HOURS WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED OR REFUNDED

Multiple weekly lessons can be offered to students who wish to have more than 1 (one) tuition session per week, though this is subject to lesson time availability.
Payments:
All payments must be made within 7 days of service. The payments should be made before 6pm AEST/AEDT to clear into our bank account within 1-2 business days. A reminder notice will be sent out at day 5 and if payments have not been received within 7 days, a demand notice will be sent out requiring the client to pay within 4 days. Please be advised if payment is not made by the due date we will be forwarding your account to our Debt Collection Agency for further recovery action. Example below:

Debt Collectors:
If we are forced to utilise the services of debt collectors, the client will incur an additional 10% administration fee to their invoice. If we incur any costs of collection or legal fees etc, you agree to indemnify us of all such costs. Terms of trade must be agreed to prior to commencement of sales transactions between The Business and The Customer.
